From the city centre, drive out of the city south along Mount Street, over the canal, along Northumberland Road and into Ballsbridge. Cross the River Dodder and pass the AIB headquarters on your left and the RDS on your right. Take the next left onto Serpentine Avenue, cross the railway and take the next right at a small roundabout. You are now on Claremont Road and the YMCA is about half-way along on your right-hand side at a bend in the road.
From the south of the city, get onto the N11 and drive into Donnybrook along the Stillorgan Road. At Donnybrook Church, take a right and veer left onto Anglesea Road. Take a right turn at the next church and onto Simmonscourt Road. At the crossroads take a left and then next right onto Serpentine Avenue, cross the railway and take the next right at a small roundabout. You are now on Claremont Road and the YMCA is about half-way along on your right-hand side at a bend in the road.

Travel to Sandymount station (Southbound from the City Centre or Howth, Northbound from Bray or Blackrock). Out of the station take a left and walk along Sandymount Avenue. Take a left at the end of that road and walk into Sandymount village. Before you get to the Spar shop, take the left turn onto Claremont Road. The YMCA is about half-way along on the left-hand side at a bend in the road.
By Bus
The number 18 bus leaves you in Sandymount village while buses such as the 7, 8 and 45 will drop you off outside the RDS or AIB in Ballsbridge. From there, turn onto Serpentine Avenue, cross the railway and take the next right at a small roundabout. You are now on Claremont Road and The YMCA is about half-way along on your right-hand side at a bend in the road.
