What's Included
Every Toddler PlayLab is designed for your curious, creative little explorer.
Music & Action Rhymes
Musical activities packed with learning and fun — individual props and follow-along songs that support communication and physical development.
Weekly Surprise Play
A brand new activity every week, all about "I can do it!" — cooking with homemade play dough, having a go at sport, scooping lentils with measuring cups and more. A whole year's worth of new play.
Puppets, Props & Bubbles
Finishing one activity and moving to the next can be tricky for toddlers — so we use puppets, props and bubbles to make every transition feel like part of the fun.
Weekly Story Time
A new storybook every week, with a copy for every child — no toddler ever has to share in the PlayLabs.
Friends & Community
A gentle space for little ones to play, explore and learn side by side, while grown-ups connect with other local families. We often hear of lifelong friendships that began at ClapHandies.
What a PlayLab Looks Like
Every Toddler PlayLab follows a familiar structure, with different activities each week — the familiar routine they love, with the thrill of something new every time.
Welcome & Hello Song
Everyone gathers on their own mat for a familiar hello song — and a chance to say good morning to everybody.
The Everybody Song
Our weekly follow-along action song, loved by toddlers and grown-ups alike — everybody walking, clapping and jumping, and finishing with our favourite hugs.
Music & Rhyme Time
A mix of old favourites and new rhymes each week — soon to be on repeat at home! Props and puppets make it even more fun. Wait until you see the toddlers happily handing back their props, ready for their hip-hip-hoorays — you'll be amazed!
The Surprise House Play
Each week brings a different play activity from our surprise house — building, shopping, washing, cooking and plenty more. It's a lovely chance to chat with other parents while your toddler plays side by side with their friends.
Story Time & Goodbye Song
We wind down with a story — everyone gets their own toddler book and we all read together — then finish with our goodbye song, until next week.
